The 5-6 students had a fabulous time at their Beechworth camp, learning about the impact of gold discovery in Victoria. Apparently gold panning took on greater significance with a visit to the lolly shop on the agenda! Students enjoyed sunshine, lollies, honey, history and hiking.
Fortunately camp was last week, as today it is snowing in Beechworth! We would also like to express our gratitude to the committed parents who were able to attend the camp and made the experience wonderful for students and teachers. We have received letters from the Beechworth community commending our students on their respectful behaviour.
