The Fathering Project, a national initiative in Australia aimed at improving children's lives by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to be more engaged in the lives of their own kids, is an important part of the Antonio Park community. There is one event every term and activities range from Slip-n-Slides, Art nights, Games, Movies, Sausage Sizzles and so much more.

These are wonderful opportunities for fathers and father figures in our community to come together and to spend valuable time with their kids creating terrific memories through shared experiences.

In 2025, APPS dads took on Mitcham PS dads in the inaugral Fathering Project Footy Match! What a night, what a game, what a vibe! A massive crowd of families from both schools turned out to watch a hard-fought game. A monumental congratulations goes out to all the APPS dads and father figures who got involved and did our school community proud!
